ADVICS CO., LTD.
(headquartered in Kariya, Aichi, President Satoshi Ogiso) announces the
development of high performance caliper. This product has been adopted in LEXUS
LC 500 and LC500h.
The newly developed
product is the aluminum opposed type 6 pot caliper.
This new caliper contributes
to the better driving performance by providing higher braking force and greatly
improved fade resistance and rigidity. Additionally, superior design has been achieved for this
caliper.
Our company will
continue to provide greater sense of safety, security and enjoyment of driving while
reducing environmental problem by producing the most optimum brake systems that
can be adapted to various type of vehicles including luxury, sports and economy
cars.
*Opposed type caliper:
It is a brake product to decelerate and stop vehicles. It can generate higher
friction force with the structure of two pistons pressing rotors from both sides.

torque receiving structure but also large capacity pad and center bridge
structure, it can produce higher braking force, fade resistance and rigidity.
